No shootout but the 25W 25MHz FM Marti remote link caused a little intermod in some of the cheap mobiles. I've got to say I had a LOT of fun back in my CB daze and learned a lot too, my geeky friends and I studied radio and did a lot of experimenting so you can say I cut my Amateur teeth on CB.
Back in the 60's and early 70's they used to have a weekly Coffee Break somewhere in Flushing NY. In those days most of us used to work on our own equipment and do a great deal of experimenting.
