I've got to say I had a LOT of fun back in my CB daze and learned a lot too, my geeky friends and I studied radio and did a lot of experimenting so you can say I cut my Amateur teeth on CB.
    Back in the 60's and early 70's they used to have a weekly Coffee Break somewhere in Flushing NY. In those days most of us used to work on our own equipment and do a great deal of experimenting.
    I keep my 2 feet on the ground, and my head in the twilight zone.

    Actually I think it got its name from the Dutch settlers. They named the river/creek that runs through the area as "Flushing river" and appropriately the area Flushing,.
