I did not see those... never interested me. The only reason I even saw the original three was that I had read the books in high school.

You bettah off. “Tedious” is the word I'd use to describe them.
All the world’s a stage, but obviously the play is unrehearsed and everybody is ad-libbing his lines. Maybe that’s why it’s hard to tell if we’re living in a tragedy or a farce.

The filmmakers even admitted that they stretched the single novel out, just to pad three films.

I remember trying to read the series of books in college. Never got more than a few pages in, bored me to sleep. Never was all that interested in the movies, although the Boss and LMFD love them. (No offense intended to JRRT fans out there, it's just not my cup of tea)

So I'm on the board of directors of a national non-profit. And I'm sitting in a board meeting.

I want to claw the eyes out of these people. They aren't bad people... but grrrr.... this meeting has gone on 2.5 hours and will not be complete for hours more.

    Grrrr... Grrr.....

Years ago, I used to be on the board of directors of a Mexican government funded children's shelter that was operated by the Catholic Church. It was an unusual situation as I am neither Mexican nor Catholic. The nuns there often tried to convince me to convert religions. Fortunately, our meetings were reasonably short and painless.

But, hey, at least the Cubbies won the Series, right?
