You might want to take a look at the Yaesu FT-857-D, like the IC-706 MK-2 they are a bit pricey , but you can vary the power through the menu system (I don't know if the 706 will allow this or not) .
Given what you've asked for , the 857 seems to fit the requirments and then some, you'll pay a price for one but they seem to be a fairly rugged little radio if treated right.

If you are looking for something for tuning amps in the 50 watt range a couple old motorola maxtracs would work. Lo band for the 6 and hi for the 2.

Or consider the IC-706MkII with your amps and a directional antenna with 6 and 2 on one boom. The Kenwood TS-2000 and the oldy FT-Yaesu 847 also come to mind. I wanted an Icom IC-746 back in the day but that didn't happen.
This is the most recent add I have seen. They seem to be pretty common and relatively cheap. I thought it might fit your task, it even looks like a piece of lab test equipment :)
