I think it starts at the Florida, Georgia state line. Then you'd need to take 95 to 17 and take excursions East from 17 to get closer to certain points of the coast. Somewhere around King George you'd get back on 95 and then hit 50 and try to pick Highway 1 up in Dover.
You could have also hit 13 near Norfolk to get to Dover. But again, you'd have to hit 95 again and then find your way to 9 and eventually switch over to 35. Take 35 to 36. Take the Garden State Parkway to 440 and take that to 76 and hit New York. I'll stop there at 9A. By that point I'd be looking for a strait shot interstate.
