The tree has grown a foot since this was taken and these antennas are much less than obvious. The height is about 15m/50ft.
At the top is a Hentenna & reflector, you could call it a 2-element but it has more gain than a Yagi, and below a double 2-element Quad using a common reflector. I have no need for a rotator because in the missing direction is a 200ft cliff. The materials are 10mm/0.4inch copper which darkens with age, SRBP plates and terminations in a small ABS box with a lid.

I like the look so far but do you have bigger pics?

When the tree flowers with lots of pollen and sap, does it change your RF radiation? :snicker:

Good question. Does it heat up enough to reodorize the area under such conditions?

Your holiday signal is 5x9 with a scent of PineSol!

The tree smells good in warm weather, not like so-called "pine" scented disinfectant, and it exudes resin. I tried it as solder flux, it works well.

I'm not aware of any power loss, the Hentenna was good for an opening to the south of Portugal (5+9+), that's about 1100 miles using 30W, a few weeks ago, there's a bundle of coax down the tree and a switch for antenna selection in the shack. As far as heating goes I won't get much from 100W but I did take the precaution of moving the garden machinery fuel from the adjoining shed to a safer place.

Wouldn't it be a bit acrid as an electronic solder flux not to mention possibly dealing with stringy trails everywhere like a hot melt glue?
