There was one in Niagara Falls but the river extinguished the fire and the rock fall at he bottom sealed the entrance. There is historical evidence, many have gone over the falls, the few survivors were the lucky ones. Soviet geologists created their own in Derweze, Turkmenistan and decades earlier coal miners created one in Pennsylvania complete with fire and brimstone plus toxic fumes just for fun, a real Hell on Earth. It has a name, Centralia.

I never realized the inherent humor of song until I made my first delivery in Gary. Oy, vey, what a shithole— it makes even Bakersfield look good, and that's no mean feat.
