OK... I know the guy is an idiot. But there's something very wrong here.
Our society watches thing's like "America's Funniest Videos" and sees people
be terribly hurt- some of them without being idiots- and people think it's FUNNY??
What happened to all you Left guys here? I thought you were supposed to
be the compassionate ones and us guys on the right (yeah... there are a couple of us)
were supposed to be the hard-hearted ones.
I don't think this guy getting hurt is a damn bit funny.
STUPID, but not funny. He's lucky he didn't jelly his lower spine.
Maybe he did and will find out about it tomorrow- No kids for you, fool.
And his asshole "friends" standing around laughing and jacking their joints
while their "friend" writhes in pain on the ground is *very* telling....
What... ONE person went to check on him while the others laughed
and ridiculed the obvious stupidity they encouraged him to commit?

People being taught to watch some little kid face-plant off a staircase
and laugh their asses off.... I've seen it happen at public school.
When you pay attention to how we're being isolated
and numbed to the pain of others, turned into little narcissistic assholes....
it's sad to be so easily manipulated.

I take full responsibility for posting it. And I will admit, I thought it was amusing to a degree and I still do think so. I am not a left guy so maybe that's why I am amused. I am compassionate to a degree, I don;t think it's funny to see anyone badly hurt or killed. At the same time I sometimes find sheer stupidity to be amusing.

Must admit -- I don't get much of a thrill out of this sort of thing either. It's moronic, childish and unbecoming our status on the food chain.

That said, what does any of this have to do with right-vs-left? Now, there's a correlation I've never noticed before. Along with stupid videos, why is it that we must assign every single human trait to one side of the political aisle or the other?

I feel like you do. Those shows are very hard for me to watch.
Some of the other reality shows are the same way...I find more discomfort than joy is watching people meltdown, get hurt, or finding themselves in unusually awkward situations.
It is not in any way "entertainment" once it gets in my head.
