A depressing video, but appropriate to the point of the song.

Hawkwind - We Took The Wrong Step Years Ago

Hawkwind is really an amazing band, in all of their various configurations over the years, and one that is truly underrated, at least here in the States. Hawkwind is just as high on my list as Pink Floyd and I'm a huge Floyd fan. If you haven't heard Hawkwind check them out, there are a ton of videos on YouTube, and they have a MySpace page as well as a website.

His dad pictured above is about the best steel guitar players I have ever heard. The guy drove a truck until he retired about 10 years ago.

    Good people.

One of my favorite bands, goes right up there with Zappa in weirdness and insanity, as well as being free speech advocates (for obvious reasons!) The GWAR movie "Phallus In Wonderland", which still doesn't seem to be available on DVD or I'd have bought it by now.

The funny thing is that it's on YouTube and it's a totally sick (in a good way, hilarious) movie. It's funny too because it starts out with the FBI warning not to duplicate, etc. YouTube cracks me up. Like I said though it's not available on DVD so maybe they just don't care at this point. Who knows, but GWAR rocks!

    I had a wee flashback.
I remember sitting in my dads lap as a small pup and driving around.
    Those were good times.
Specially when you got to blow the horn. :D
