I love metallic red paint, and the lettered papers glued on front, but The yellow backing on the VFO dial is really the finishing touch.

Being I know that northern New England ham I trust his audio mods BUT cosmetically that transmitter is RUINED! That's even worse than the beautifully restored Valiant I came across at a 'fester once, too beautiful in fact. Funny, Johnson never coated anything with shiny clear lacquer. :sick
