I realize that I'm commenting on a three year old posting, but how did you band guys get to sell candy? I mean, that's something that people would actually buy! We in the orchestra were always stuck with selling fruitcake that was excessively laced with preservatives.Originally Posted by WØTKX

Fruit cakes work well in place of the rubber blocks used to clean a sander. They also work well as bricks, doorstops, and much more. I think that my family has regifted the same fruit cake for 20 years or so as a running gag.
