There's a IK5 on the calling frequency and I'm hearing many callers from all over. Perty cool

If you like 6m it's working right now.

Probably double hop E. THere was some pretty deep QSB on him at one time, but he remained pretty steady at other times.

Just worked the Canary Islands (EA8) on 6m...19:46 UTC. Rough copy, but we might have another opening this afternoon. :dance

    edit:
Just got another one...found a total of three stations from the IL18 so far...and things seem to be picking up.
Hope it holds and the opening goes big.

    Ryan,
    I'm only using a 3L beam at about 28'.
    FT-897D and about 75' of RG-8
Definitely not the best of set-ups, but it's all I have right now.

Well that's still freakin' cool, and gives me a gauge as to what the condx will yield for me.

Seriously I know people using dipoles and verticals on 6, even though a yagi is relatively inexpensive and doesn't take up much space.

I have one of those old 3 ring Saturn 6 halos. Omni directional and horizontally polarized, A pretty good deal.
