    We're looking at Connie-14s and possibly a pair of ZX14s for the twisty stuff. Our garage is currently filled with cruisers - and we're missing out on a lot of riding due to threat of rain. Cleaning a blinged-out Valkyrie I/S is a friggin' chore... :-|

    Would love a 14...but I have enough points on my license already with the 1000... As for riding in the rain.... Like I tell Mrs. Bunneh. If I was afraid of rain...I would ride a Harley and cower in pheer under an overpass....

    That and I run Avon's....So unless its a torrential downpour (in which case I slowdown to about 40 and turn on the hazards)... I follow my mantra...

    RIDE BUNNEH...RIDE!

    Oh...on edit

    One thing to NEVER EVER do on a 14 is...LOOSE THE FOOKIN KEYFOB...it will cost you about 1200 bucks to pay for your "C.R.S" disease!

    One guy had to walk his bike thru his entire house until it started...He said it was a bitch getting it up the stairs...It started in the Master Bedroom. His wife had forgotten where she hid the spare KIPASS fob!

    Some people put the fob in the secret pocket in the mesh jacket or sew a small karabiner in the pocket to clip it on too. Other than that...they love the ride! The MPG is a bit less. I get about 45mpg (would probably get better if I kept it under 90 and didnt run Saphira like a wild animal) but they are seeing about 35mpg or so. That and this years Maroon color is awsome!

    Re: Motorcycle Discussion Thread

    I'm looking at some electronics for ours:

    FTM-10SR;
    JMCB2003;
    Zumo 550
    Kennedy FRSet4 to tie it all together.

    We can currently operate 11M, 6M, 2M, 220 and 440 MHz...FRS/GMRS...from our Valkyries courtesy of the bike's OEM audio system (in the case of my I/S) and the JMCB ('DSG's Tourer) and the Kennedy Integrator unit along with a VX6R or VX7R - and a pair of Midland 910GXT FRS units.

    The HT setup is nice, but the FTM-10 unit will add FM stereo reception to the Connies and give us a bit more power out...at the expense of 6M and 220 MHz. I really wish someone would come out with a waterproof quad-bander that covers ALL the VHF/UHF bands.

    I like the bike, and I have a kitty, but that's not me.

    Found it on the Net, and I like it...

    My cat loves to hang out on the seat or the tank, when it's parked.

    Yea, but a cool story about 3 people who rode together, one of them happened to be a cat.

    I knew a runt Malamute by the name of Kudo that rode on a Honda V65 Sabre tank... with doggy stirrups and goggles. She was a scream, and one hell of a Frisbee pooch.
