    I sure hope you moved that black snake off the roadway. Damn things get themselves killed and we are steadily running low on snakes in many areas of the country. Don't even get me started on the Texasses who go out and hunt rattlesnakes for fun.

    What the heck is with that big "rattlesnake roundup" they have every year? Seems rather...grade-schoolish.

    Snakes aren't bothering anything or won't be used for their meat....leave them alone. I would rather sidestep a rattler than deal with an explosion of their prey - bubonic plague-carrying mice.
