Not bad Charles. I have been using Audacity for a few years now (even to record ham QSOs and other stuff on the bands), but the others seem interesting.

Thanks. I don't know which one would be best for my needs but I like to edit music and and audio out takes from television and movies to make my own ringtones. I also enjoy mixing bits to fit in for background and lead in music for video shorts and slide shows.
It's complicated and it blows up sometimes, but I keep playing with Blender.

I wish I did not have preconceived notions of how to do things in the software. I spent too much time using AutoDesk's 3D Studio, and played a lot with Bryce.
It's good stuff Charles, and it's free under the GNU license. Check it out, maybe we could learn this together, I really miss doing 3D work.
Ever play with Poser? Razor Video Editing software?

Speed Razor is gone, I think. :( http://www.digitalvideoediting.com/2...zzletter19.htmPoser is a 3D rendering and animation software program optimized for models that depict the human figure in three-dimensional form, mostly used to pose and animate the figures in a similar way as a mannequin. The program has become very popular due to it's ease of use, which allows beginners to produce basic animations and digital comics.
Real Time Video editing in the 90's; way ahead of it's time. It was pretty cool.
