    RIP Mojo Nixon

    Niell Kirby McMillan Jr., AKA Mojo Nixon, late of San Diego, passed away at age 66. He was probably best known for some of his whacked-out psychobilly songs such as Elvis is Everywhere, which got a lot of play on MTV back in the 80s, Stuffin’ Martha’s Muffin and Don Henley Must Die. The New York Times did an nice obit on him.

    All the world’s a stage, but obviously the play is unrehearsed and everybody is ad-libbing his lines. Maybe that’s why it’s hard to tell if we’re living in a tragedy or a farce.
