A "hybrid?" Sounds like working from home in the evenings while putting in full time hours in the office and traveling.

Is it legit? I have a friend who is a degree'd engineer and is looking for work but he currently resides in SC.

Not sure what is meant by “hybrid” in this context. Didn’t ask, as it my incorrectly imply interest that’s not there. (I still hear from headhunters once or twice a week, and I’ve been off the job market for 3 years)

I don’t know what’s worse... job descriptions with pre-requisites I clearly don’t have... or opportunities in the Philly / NEPa area. Only 350 or so miles away, as the crow flies... down the Pa Turnpike... which just raised tolls again...

That is the truth. I get calls and emails all the time and most of the time the offer is less money with no negotiating room. I have one that would be a break even change except for it being 5 hour away. I am not the only working adult in my household and I am not going to up and move just for the hell of it. They don't get it. They believe their opportunity is better.
