In a C programming class, years ago, we had to write a subroutine to handle input errors.
i named mine Hell. You know the logic... On Error(), Goto Hell.
The Teaching Assistant for that class did not have any sense of humor (think Raj from The Big Bang Theory, only less pleasant and with the worse aspects of Sheldon). He gave me a D, and threatened to flunk me out of the class if I ever did it again.
