    We're in our 14th year!

    The Island survived its 14th birthday on Jan. 19, 2021. We've logged 13 years in the books, and now we're in our 14th year on the web.

    Considering that Mike, AL2N, started this site on 01/19/2007 because a smarmy administrator on QRZ dared him to "start you're own site if you don't like the way we do things", its impressive that the forums have lasted so long.

    We've survived almost everything... DNS attacks... tumultuous & epic 'battles'... not so subtle attacks from various QRZ denziens... a major software migration (phpBB to vBulletin)... several changes in ownership (one very sudden)... and many, many members who come and go for various reasons.

    My personal thanks to N8YX, Fred, NA4BH, Bob, KD8TUT, Michael, any and all members who have donated to the site, and the entire membership for their loyalty!

    QAnon / GOP Republicans mentally lack the necessary intelligence to even tell a decent lie (Ex: A cabal of Satanic, cannibalistic pedophiles run a global child sex trafficking ring and conspired against former President Dotard dRUMPf during his term in office... Jewish space lasers, etc.). What in the hell makes anyone believe these melon heads can actually govern?
