    Looking for a tube

I'm in the process of restoring a Johnson 6&2 transmitter. I need a 5894 final amp tube. Anyone have one they would part with?
    Tnx

That tube sounds familiar. Didn't some Siltronix gear also use it?

I don't know, never had any siltronix gear. The 5894 has 2 plate connections on the top.

I've got an old Siltronix in a box, somewhere. I'll check. If memory serves, I think the tube is an 8950 or something close to that. If it wasn't so heavy, I'd send you the whole thing.

Tnx Bob. Dave's E bay find worked out, and I got the tube.

Don't tell the audiophools about that tube, and by that I mean she's got some nice curves.
