The owners of my workplace have decided that this year, instead of a company picnic or a trip to an amusement park, the annual Family Outing will be at an upcoming Sunday Pirate game. (In the "all you can eat" section, to boot). Free tickets to any employee & their immediate family who want to go.

So what could go wrong?

Turns out that they picked the same Sunday that the Boss & Little Miss Field Day's Church is going.

And the Church Choir will be singing the National Anthem before the game. (Guess who's IN the choir? You get two guesses, by the way)

Sitting (we think) ALSO in the AYCE section.

Why is this a problem? Because our son and his family are coming too... and we'd really wanted to sit the whole family together. This could prove... an interesting exercise in logistics. (That, and we're already committed to buying the tickets through the church)
