    Chevelle redo

Hi guys. It has been about 7 years since the restoration and the old girl needed some attention. Leaking fuel pump , intake manifold, and carb. Paint peeling off the front of the heads, and I had a noisy valve or two. I replaced the stock cast iron manifold with an Edelbrock aluninum performer. Picked up a rebuilt 750 Quadrajet from Jegs. Touched up the engine paint, installed a new fuel pump, and adjusted the valves. She cleaned up nice, and is running great. I think I'm going to put it in our local car show this summer.

    She's a beaut, Warren!
All the world’s a stage, but obviously the play is unrehearsed and everybody is ad-libbing his lines. Maybe that’s why it’s hard to tell if we’re living in a tragedy or a farce.

My lady friend has a '71 which has been built/freshened up similar to yours, George. Which is a hell of a dilemma for her, as she's a Mopar Gal.

This leads to an interesting debacle: Want a Dodge product in my garage? It's either a '70 Hemi Challenger or a late model Viper hard-top coupe with the Lingenfelter engine/chassis treatment. Your choice, sweetie.

A set of 8" M&H wrinkle walls would do the trick.
