How long does it take FCC to update address?

I updated my license info last friday. Got a new apartment (blissfully single after 30 years). Updated my info via ULS. Checked my info today and it still shows my old address. Been 13 years since I've had to update address so I've forgotten how long it takes.

Give it a week; hopefully they aren't getting too reamed over their shenanigans right now to take care of business.

Took them a business day to update it when I did it over the summer. DMV were sticklers about having the right address before they'd give me a call sign plate for the Heep.

It took them less than a week to update mine when I moved onto the boat.
All the world’s a stage, but obviously the play is unrehearsed and everybody is ad-libbing his lines. Maybe that’s why it’s hard to tell if we’re living in a tragedy or a farce.

Well just checked a minute ago. Still not updated. Guess I'll have to retry when I am home again. Thanks for the replies guys.

Is this something I need to worry about when I apply for my license?

No. When you apply for a license, they use the address you put on your form. In my case, I was changing addresses. For some reason, my 1st online attempt at address change wasn't recognised and therefore ignored/rejected. I don't know if it was an issue with my info or a hiccup in the FCC db.

    You should be fine.

We can do that all on-line here ourselves logging in with protected login/password.
Even download the new forms and print them out, sorted ;)

Well crap, they found you. Move farther away and see what happens. Eddie has a spare room.
