Well, today is Clyde's birthday, but, unfortunately, he didn't live to see it. I have been told that Clyde passed away in early August of this year. He was a good friend of mine, and the guy was just funny as hell.
We never agreed on anything politically, but we always managed to work around that.

QAnon / GOP Republicans mentally lack the necessary intelligence to even tell a decent lie (Ex: A cabal of Satanic, cannibalistic pedophiles run a global child sex trafficking ring and conspired against former President Dotard dRUMPf during his term in office... Jewish space lasers, etc.). What in the hell makes anyone believe these melon heads can actually govern?
From a bartender's perspective, we would say he is now enjoying the angel's share. The first glass on the bar is for Clyde. Let us all raise our glasses and remember that the current through a conductor between two points is directly proportional to the voltage across the two points.

From a couple of Clyde's postings in the satirical "Knobs!" thread (here and here), I take it that Clyde might have been an ELP / Keith Emerson fan. Sadly, we also lost Keith earlier this year.
On this Saturday night, I hope that Clyde is enjoying a great Keith Emerson concert: VIP style, front row, center seat. RIP, Clyde.
Very sorry to hear it. I used to hang out on the Nerd Net in the late 80s/early 90s with N4MXZ and the others...will have to see if Clyde's in the log somewhere.

Sorry to hear about this sad news. I offer my deepest sympathies.I don't remember Clyde too well but nonetheless he'll be missed.
