I met a guy a few years back who was from the Turks and Caicos Islands and their capital is Cockburn Town.He said to always call it "Co-burn Town" .......if you don't you probably get fed to head hunters or something(......sort of like saying people coming from "Frisco" ....... San Francisco would cringe!

Meh. I call it “Frisco” all the time. My family has been in San Francisco since 1886; I was born there, so was my father and so was his father. I figure I can call it whatever the hell I choose to call it without regard to whether people there like it or not.(......sort of like saying people coming from "Frisco" .......
