The Artist Formerly Known as Prince

Formerly, because he died this morning at age 57.

I wasn't a huge fan, but it can't be denied that the guy had talent. Played a mean guitar, too.

All the world’s a stage, but obviously the play is unrehearsed and everybody is ad-libbing his lines. Maybe that’s why it’s hard to tell if we’re living in a tragedy or a farce.

RIP. Talented musician. Not a big fan but have to give credit where it is due.

I was not a big fan, but I did enjoy some of his music like 1999, When the Doves Cry, Purple Rain, and so on. The man had talent and I'm sure there will be a lot of songs released that he has that no one has heard, people said he recorded music everyday.

Google front page, in purple. Push the "play" button, and its purple rain.

I was, and always will be, a huge fan. If you never saw him live, well...

You missed out. He was freaking amazing.

Not a true fan either, dude had MUCH talent. When Eric Clapton was asked what it felt like to be the Worlds greatest guitarist, he replied "I don't know ask Prince".

i saw him a few weeks ago when he was playing his one-man show in oakland, and it was the *perfect* show for me ... i spent more than i would have liked but, all told, i don't regret it at all.

seeing as many artists whose shows i see die shortly afterward, i predict that diana ross will be dead by the end of the year. :|

You can't see much of his stuff on youtube. He kept his musical rights tight.
But, I recommend paying for digital tunes and albums.
    His discography is freaking HUGE!

And if you have never seen the movie Purple Rain... just do it.
