    Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter Photos

From the Smithsonian Institution exhibit. Way cool, if you're a space geek:

All the world’s a stage, but obviously the play is unrehearsed and everybody is ad-libbing his lines. Maybe that’s why it’s hard to tell if we’re living in a tragedy or a farce.

Way cool is right, but I'm not a space geek, just spaced out. Just one question, why are they called poles when they're holes?

That's really cool. The Apollo 11 landing site looks just like the Mojave desert.
We never had weather like this before they started messing around with that internet stuff.

Thanks for the post, Pope. Some really cool stuff. I hope they do the aircraft section sometime.

By the way, maybe it's just the internet, butt I noticed it really makes Uranus look rather large.

That was a sick pun, desert or no desert you're a rat. (;->) Oh and one word of advice, don't mess with da Pope, the radio god could turn against you and put you in an invisible Faraday cage and send pack rats to chew your wires.
