Well Pat, you yourself said there were only a relative handful (circa 350, wasn't it?) of these rigs ever made, did you not? Didn't you also say it was actually rarer that the SX-88 you've drooled for? And, didn't you once say you got yours (with the PS) at an estate sale for a fraction of what they're worth?
I know how you feel about selling the rigs off. I am not asking or telling you to do so. I'm just going to say... if you wanted to, you could post yours somewhere for a minimum of $2K, probably more, and make a handsome profit in the process.
Sounds like there are only a handful of Heathkit rigs that are rarer than this one... such as the famous SB-240 prototype...
