    Fish ON!

My dad helped me buy a boat yesterday. It was a co-workers boat that had sat up for two or three years. $1800 later it was home and it was mine. We pulled FOUR large lawn bags of pecan leaves out of it, and started cleaning it up. Today we replaced the trim pump and got it working. Tomorrow we'll siphon all the old gas out of it, blow out the carbs, and see if we can get it cranked up. It's a 1996 Cajun 18'6" center console with a 1996 Johnson 130 V4 motor.

This is what the trim pump looked like this morning.

And this is what it does now...

That's a nice size and style. Got another thousand to bust out? At least you said "fish on" and not B.O.A.T.

Buying and selling the hole in the water that you pour money into.

That will be a nice fishing boat. I do have to agree that boats eat money. I went from a 30 footer to a 14 foot aluminum with a 9.9 HP. My trim always works as long my arm does.😁 What are you going to name the boat? My little boat is the "REDNECK RYDER".

More than likely I'll name it "Too Coys".

This is much more than a boat for me. Growing up my dad was always half gone since he worked off shore. And since I was a gay child I never had any interest in learning how to change the oil, or work on stuff. Now that I'm older I realize how much I missed and how important he is to me, so if this boat never makes it to the water, the quality time spent rehabbing it with him is all I need.

"Too Coys" comes from our middle name. He's Richard Coy l, and I'm Christopher Coy.

And this is worth it at ten times the price.
