I have a beta copy running in a virtual machine, and it looks like a big improvement over Windows 8. A Win 7 user won't be quite as lost as those who went from 7 to 8.
The user interface so far looks pretty usable without the tearing of hair and screaming Win 8 produces.
I have 5 devices ready to roll, 2 laptops, 2 pc's, and a Windows phone.
