    Fedora 22 Released

    Fedora 22 was released yesterday.....

did a clean install into former Fedora 20 partition rather than a fedup upgrade
due to bugs in the installer....

so far so good....the new 4.0 kernel seems to have fixed whatever was keeping
me from being able to use Fedora 21....even with my legacy nvidia card.....

installed the MATE spin this time....uses less system resources.....

anyone else tried it yet ???

Not yet. I'm still running Fedora 21. I plan to upgrade to 22 later this month or in early July. Hopefully it won't break my favorite apps.

It happens. That's why I am going to do the upgrade on my "test system" before I commit it to my main system. I hear they are planning to phase out "yum" in favor of a "better" installer/updater"....
