    Well..... if I understand the band plans for U.S. Ops .......1.2 Ghz is a band where even Novice class licence holders may operate........ suppose you can look at it that way...... :chin:

    There used to be a few 1.2 ghz machines in Dayton. They only got used during hamvention by visitors.

    Weirdly enough, there's a 1.2gig machine less than 20 miles from me, but it's D-STAR only. Boo hiss.

    i didn't know you could get those so cheap. we have those kinda repeaters here afaik. (we also have 220mhz, but those seem to have been coopted by local businesses) ...
