The basic concept of the GV wasn't bad... an vertical with a loading coil. Of course, it would have helped if it was actually resonant, and if the buyer knew that he/she had to lay down a few radials. Oh, and that it was thin, cheap aluminum that was prone to breaking in high winds... and not so high winds... want to know how I know that?
