    I Really Like XM-Sirius Radio

But not to the tune of $195.00 / year.....

After identifying myself and my account to the computer system, I said, "I Would Like To Speak With An Agent", after a brief hold, the call center person picks up and, I say, "Cancel my subscription and send me a pro-rated bill for the service covering 12/16/2014 until today." The call center person says, she doesn't have the tools to close my account so, she has to transfer me to another department.

After the validation process, the person in the "Customer Care" asked how they could help me today?

My reply, "Cancel my subscription and send me a pro-rated bill for the service covering 12/16/2014 until today."

CC: "You are not happy with the service?"

Me: I really like the service but, I don't like it $195.00 worth, "Cancel my subscription and send me a pro-rated bill for the service covering 12/16/2014 until today."

CC: "Let's see if we can find you a Promotional offer,.........We can offer you a year of service for $115 for a year".

Me: "That's still too much, Cancel my subscription and send me a pro-rated bill for the service covering 12/16/2014 until today."

CC: Oh, I see that we have a six month offer for $25 plus taxes and fee, it comes to $35.00 and it will auto renew at the rate of $115.00 at the end of the six month period.

Me: "Okay, I'll take that plan, when does it auto renew?"

CC "On June 22, 2015", can I have your credit card information......"

Done deal, unfortunately, I have to go through this twice a year and, I have done so for the last three years.

Would you pay $195.00 to listen to the radio in your car?

My dad has it on his Caddy. I had the free one year when I bought my last new truck (along with the satellite phone, and accident reporting/directions). I am too damn cheap to pay the subscription to anything when the free first year expires. I have an I phone that does everything but the automatic airbag deployment reporting.

We love our Sirius-XM. I'm listening to it right now, in fact.

What's your favorite channel? I mostly listen to The Loft (Ch. 30) myself but I also listen to Outlaw Country on Saturdays (Ch. 60) and the Spectrum (Ch. 28).

All the world’s a stage, but obviously the play is unrehearsed and everybody is ad-libbing his lines. Maybe that’s why it’s hard to tell if we’re living in a tragedy or a farce.

Try the old radio shows on 82 or 83 whichever one it is. I'm hooked.

    (128) Progressive Talk, (118) BBC World, (115) CNN, (114) Faux News, channels 48 and 50 for Motown and Urban; occasionally I check out 6, 7, 8 and 9 for the era music.

I've considered subscribing, but it's steep.
iHeart Radio has a lot of good choices.

I also subscribe to Zune (Xbox) music.
Download a few podcasts every week.
Oh, and the Public Radio streaming app.
    Definitely listen to Progressive Talk.
    Thom Hartmann and Norman Goldman.

I liked it when I had Dish, but I don't really miss it now that I don't have a TV...

You should try listening to The Six Wives of Henry the Eighth by Rick Wakeman
