The Official "I Worked An Islander" Thread

If there are any Islanders who have worked each other on HF VHF Eyeball or otherwise, Post it here! Would be nice to know who can work what and with who!. I'll start it off!

    Just worked N4BBQ on JT65 40m. YAY!

We've had these threads before. While CW and digital contacts are nice, the few SSB ragchews I have had are the best.

Mostly Carlo and Janet. I'm looking forward to Janet getting her HF antenna going. Winter is coming, and 40/60/75 play well.

    At one point or another:

    Janet

I might have missed one or two...

We ought to jump back on 40 or 75 some evening. One time we did a net and had close to 20 of us going back and forth.

I've also worked Jerry (X Rated), Paul ('LAF), Doug ('GA) and Ryan ('RJ) on the air. Met Ryan and wife in person at Dayton and Suddenseer has been a frequent flier at 'DSG's Friday evening birthday bash over the years.

ETA: Spent an enjoyable afternoon in the Buffalo Appleby's with Kelli and her daughter. Went to Lockport to pick up an FT726R and they met us on the way home.

Met Suddenseer when he came though.. Never worked anyone on air but have heard KJ3N work a few stations in the past. Also heard N2RJ long ago but didn't get to work him.

OH I did work W7XF on 40m one night when he was driving da truck

    In no particular order:

W7XF N2KKM/N2CHX (under her old call sign)
    NX6D/WU9G (haven't worked Janet as W7XP yet) KF0RT
    KG4CGC KJ3N
    W0TKX KA9MOT
    W5IEI WA6MHZ
    K7SGJ W3MIV (SK)
    N3LAF

Some of these folks are no longer active on the Island but are still members so I included their calls anyhow.

All the world’s a stage, but obviously the play is unrehearsed and everybody is ad-libbing his lines. Maybe that’s why it’s hard to tell if we’re living in a tragedy or a farce.

Yessah, we need to add some bands to that mode (and JT9). I've been watching for your call again when I'm on.
