janet seems to move around often (which sucks, because moving sucks). i'm not nearly as ambitious (although maybe my librarian days will change things). looking forward to hearing how awesome the new qth is ...

I guess you guys haven't moved in a while and forgot what a mammoth task it is and how long it takes to get organized and settle in. Chances are setting up a ham station is the last thing on her mind, considering priorities more of an afterthought. Twice my station moved with me and sat in boxes for months. This move made me a paper ham but I'm still on the air in Australia via a packet BBS and on a net in Missouri Monday evenings so all is not lost. Oh, forget about Echostink, I never cared for repeater cliques.
