"The Drop"
I read a review of the movie on Friday and went to see it yesterday. It was good.
James Gandolfini's last movie. Story takes a while to develop but the last part is intense.
I'll need to see it again to catch all the important dialogue.
Movie is set in Brooklyn, but I understand the story in the book takes place in Dorchester.

Funny Gandolfini was always in Bay Ridge when I lived there. Book signings and such. I must've bumped into him a half-dozen times and not known who he was. He was around that much.
Sounds like a good movie. Brooklyn has some great locales and is dripping with character. Thanks for the information. I haven't seen it playing up here yet. Think I'll rent it when it comes out.
