What we are seeing is, the end ofoura era; the herd is thinning. :(
The icons that we modeled ourselves after like John Wayne, Charleston Heston or Jimmy Steward are gone; faceless voices that scared you or reminded you that it was a certain time of year; those of Vincent Price or Burl Ives are gone.
How about all those "Starlettes" of the silver screen like Audrey Hepburn, Bette Davis, Joan Crawford, Katharine Hepburn, Veronica Lake and Maurine O'Sullivan; all gone before some of us completed puberty.
How about the music that shaped our lives; Buddy, Elvis, Janis, Jim, Duane, John, James, Whitney and, Michael; they are all gone.
Did you ever have a portable turntable (w/ AM-FM tuner) to play 45 and 33 1/3 records?
I think that we will be seeing more flowers on the "Hollywood Walk of Fame" decorating the names of people from our past; glad I'm around to "smell" those flowers today and, I will just have to wait to see what tomorrow brings.

Yea, but Lauren had a long good run, and her marriage to Bogart was legendary...
She was very cool. I really enjoyed her singing too.

All the world’s a stage, but obviously the play is unrehearsed and everybody is ad-libbing his lines. Maybe that’s why it’s hard to tell if we’re living in a tragedy or a farce.
Veronica Lake......what a BABE she was !!!
