Think I found me a good project for my vacation time!!

    http://palletfurnitureplans.com/pall...ir-collection/

Been wanting to get seats for the porch but as I am a LARGE guy, I find that most manufacturers don't make furniture big enough to fit me. Found this site and I think I'm gonna build me a patio set for the front porch. Something big enough to fit me and make a table so I can set the radio up outside during nice weather!

Some of those look pretty neat, especially the upholstered versions.

Yeah sitting on hard wood for an extended amt of time can be a real PITA (pun INTENDED).

Seriously though, i saw a simple one thats wrap around seating. would fit my front porch PERFECTLY.

I'd have to change the plans a bit as I dont think I would have access to the pallet types listed but that wouldnt be difficult

Why not just yank the air ride seat out of your rig?

    Interesting.

Gives me a few ideas. However, having seen quite a few pallets abused during my Home De$pot days, I think I'd rather use new wood.

Some interesting projects. I don't think I'd attempt some of them without a belt sander, at least not the pallets I have. I get enough splinters as it is. Actually, they are a great source for wood for all kinds of projects. I've been using them for years and probably still have 30 or 40 around here.
