    Change of Adress

    just a quick question.....

is it possible to file a change of address with the FCC thru the ULS ???

the USPS in it's infinite wisdom has decided that the address I've been using for
the past 10 + years is no longer valid & we now must use our 911 address....:-?

what a PITA this is going to be as ALL of our accounts & drivers licenses use
    our "old" address.....

and to make it even more "interesting" it seems that the county assessor gave
us an incorrect 911 address anyway...everyone on our side of the road has an even
number...except for us that is...we have an odd number for some reason....and yeah,
I can see the snide comments coming a mile away...but at least be creative...

    I'd say yes

As far as humor goes, the population of Magdalena appears to be around 900. Couldn't you and the guy living on the other side of the road just exchange mailboxes?

Yes, you can do a change of address quite easily using the ULS.

luckily for me, I don't live IN Magdalena....I'm in the Mountains ~ 4.5 miles S of the Village...

and there IS no guy across the road....nearest neighbor is ~ 1/2 mile away...

and thanx for the answers, but I'm on the ULS site now....butt of course I've forgotten
the password I used many moons ago....I asked for a passwd reset but it's Sunday
& they won't get back to me for 3 days now...

    they're the Gov't & they're here to help....

I had to register my change my address quite a few years ago when the portion of the city where we lived was annexed by the adjacent town. Like you, we didn't move but our address changed!

And as you will find out, you will get a new paper license in the mail but your expiration date won't change.

If you want to change the address listed on your QRZ webpage, you'll have to personally call Fred sometime between the hours of 3 A.M. and 4 A.M.

That is specifically when he's not out in his $500K+ camper spending "donations".
