Please don't eat those. Those are worse for you than regular (whatever) hot dogs. I'm totally sincere about this. The chemicals alone would jolt a dead Frankenstein back to life and kill him again in a minute. They're a dollar a pack for several reasons and they're all the the wrong ones.

I agree. Please don't. For the local selection, I have them ranked as follows:

1) Sabretts (preferably with casing)

2) Boar's Head

3) Nathan's - although they haven't been as good for the last few years and they stopped carrying them here.

Joey Chestnut is my hero. He won the Nathan's hot dog eating contest again with 61 in 10 minutes. I love Nathan's but but my all meat hot dog days are over. My wife gets me some @#$! called Bar S Turkey Franks. They are a dollar a pack, so she feeds them to me and the dogs. 50% turkey and 50% sawdust, almost no taste or fat or calories.

They sell those things around here, too.

LucyFurr will eat almost anything with meat in it. She won't touch those.
