Someone needs to squash that weatherman and let the Bug give the weather forecast.
Been to Florida. They have locusts the size of pickups. Well, about 9" long. They come in swarms and are in the millions. They have Japanese Beetles that are 4 to 5" long. The first rest stop South of Jacksonville on I-95 has big red signs warning to stay away from the Alligators. A couple of weeks after we passed through, on a cold morning, a 6 footer came out of the womens room preceded by two women screaming with girdles around their ankles. It's Wild Kingdom down there.

Been there too. I would say the swarms of locusts come in the trillions and each is an average of 9-12 feet long. When they swarm in the sky turns black and it is as dark as night and all you can hear is the deafening roar of their wings. Japanese Beetles, forget about it... at least 12-24" long. Then there are the Brown Recluse Spiders that are at least 6 to 12 feet in diameter. Not to mention the black widows which are 12" - 15" in diameter. I won't even get into the size of the tarantulas... at least 25 miles in diameter. Just hope one does not accidentally step on you.
But ... They all sure do taste good on a crisp Ritz Cracker..![]()
