Upper HF has been poor today in terms of propagation - apparently we got hit by a CME some time in the last 24h and the accompanying magnetic storm shut things down a bit.
It'll be nice to see some Es on 12-10M with the advent of late spring and early summer.

I literally had my finger on the enter button on gigaparts to buy an 817nd with the w4rt mod when the xyl calls and says the motor blew up on the car! I cant win for losin! Hope you enjoy your rig. Ill enjoy it vicariously through ur posts now... lol
apparently my family is getting together and getting me a rig for christmas, been thinking of either the elecraft kx3 (not preassembled that would be cheating) or the 857d....then i will get on the HF and by then i will have my general class so i can actuly use it lol
Ya better get crackin. There's only 242 until Christmas. With 50 out of a possible 700 questions, you can only spend a little under 3 days on each one. Of course, you probably want to get the ticket by Thanksgiving, which gives you even less time.
