    Atlanta is covered in snow!

Funny parody on our epic disaster here in Jawja.

At least you're closer to Robin Meade than most of us, geographically speaking.

One inch of snow and you can run, but you can't drive. Of course not, they never heard of tire chains in Atlanta and it's the same everywhere, the worse the weather the nuttier the drivers.

I remember my first winter in Atlanta. I was at my bank, and the teller informed me about how lucky I was to get my transaction complete since they where closing early due to the winter storm. I asked her when it was expected to arrive. She exclaimed, "It's already here, didn't you see it?" It was lightly snowing outside. The snow melted on contact with the ground. My understanding of what constituted a winter storm was much different being from Ohiya. Then I realized that I never seen a snow/salt truck the whole time I lived there. Maybe that is why they freak out seeing a snow flake. I did get to see the solar eclipse from there, way cool.

KC4I, a friend in the Atlanta area, sent me this photo to disprove media reports saying Atlanta wasn't prepared for the big snowstorm:

Now THAT'S Redneck engineering at its finest, proving once and for all Southerner's are creative, turning junk into a work of art. Maybe a bit of overkill though when a leaf blower will do, and they can make one with an old fan and a stovepipe.

An inch of snow wouldn't even be noticed here.

You must have a Braille keyboard and a text reader. Just one question, what to you do about pictures?
