All the world’s a stage, but obviously the play is unrehearsed and everybody is ad-libbing his lines. Maybe that’s why it’s hard to tell if we’re living in a tragedy or a farce.

I used to watch her movies when I was little. I especially liked the ones where Bojangles would dance with her. RIP

    The night sky is black
    Shirley Temple Black.
    It's grey, it's grey,
    since she went away

    Oh-oh, what can I do??
    'cause I-I-I-I-I,
    I'm feelin' blue.

I wasn't much of a fan but I too watched her movies when I was a kid. Whatever happened to good, wholesome entertainment? RIP Shirley, cute as a puppy.

Interesting how her movies still have an impact 80 years later. Nobody around today can compare to her childhood performances.

She did a film as a teenager with Cary Grant and Myrna Loy. The Bachelor and the Bobby Soxer. Interesting period piece.
