Got a call from the mortuary today. They haven't been able to proceed with the M-I-L's cremation because they're lacking a copy of her advance health care directive.

I faxed it to them, but I'm still a little baffled by this.

All the world’s a stage, but obviously the play is unrehearsed and everybody is ad-libbing his lines. Maybe that’s why it’s hard to tell if we’re living in a tragedy or a farce.
