Magic number in August? Wow, just 10? It is almost in the bag. Remember the kick ass all season Red's these last few years. They win their division, and get killed in the first post season round. I am thinking about the no hitter served up by the Phillie's ace Roy Halladay. The second no hitter in post season history (we should all the the first). Hang in there Ron.

As usual, ESPN is all Yankees, Dodgers, Rangers and BoSox. It's like the A's and Pirates don't exist.
ESPN is having a collective orgasm over the Rangers and their recent streak, which coincidentally was against teams with the worst ERAs in the league. Wow, THAT'S impressive. ESPN didn't say diddly when the A's mowed through the NL East and Central.
