$1 DIY Phone Photo Projector

Yep, for a whole dollah, you too can have a cheapo kit photo projector. I guess it would work with GIFs and Vids too.

A phone based projector is a great way to show off your mobile photos and your phone hack savvy.

Just picture laying in bed browsing your feed or watching a movie on a ginormous screen.

A projector provides a new way of looking at your shots, and for $1, who can afford not to try this project?

It'll probably cause the teen in your house to roll their eyes in angst, but that's probably half the fun by now.

There's also a link to a plan to build a 120" HD (10 foot) DIY projector for anything flatscreen, but it costs $20 to get the plans and it's not quite as cheap as this. Costs run upwards of $500.

Still, it's like an easy Heathkit and 10 feet is 10 feet.

AND there's the Altoids Pocket Projector which uses spare parts from broken cameras - HERE. More of a curiosity than anything else I guess.

Yes. It was a Kickstarter project. They wanted to raise $18k on Kickstarter, and they ended up raising $80k.
