no, I am 39, but I come from a family of musicians, and learned long ago to appreciate music (not the crap they play on the radio today).

As for my family's musical background Enoch Light who pioneered stereo recording, the late Ricky Nelson, and my father who played steel guitar.

PS: Yes indeedy do know/remember the Enoch Light stuff but I picked it up from Gramps who was a Jazz Banjoist who later converted to guitar circa 1930.

Wow, I had never heard that one, I like it.

For years I played mostly drums/percussion, I could play bass and some rythem guitar, short fat fingers and no chord stretch limited my guitar playing. I was a natrual drummer though, started playing semi professionally in 1980 w/o ever taking lessons, I taught myself how to play. I've always been a fan of Jazz, Blues, rockabilly, and swing music.

Here is a bright upcoming musician in the Jazz arena that I really enjoy, I have had the pleasure of watching him perform live in Autin Tx.

A very talented young man, and very energetic, he puts on one HELL of a live show, He has several shows available on DVD, I highly recommend them if you are into jazz.

I find I like almost everything and only despise excessive repetition and factory music. I even like some factory music, though much only years after the factory died and the best of the rest managed to survive the test of time.

Some interesting younger folks, young to me, doing something different then the rest of the never ending stream of clones.

Love the reuse of the "Night in Tunisia" changes in the beginning very cool talkin bout the first link not finished listening to that one yet. Will check the second link right afterwards :)
