What the heck one more for good measure

Jerry Goodman, Steve Morse, and whatever else they want to call the Dixie Dregs (tha Dregs mannnnn think very toked out and slurring )
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QgY23689RWo

A bandmate friend of mine turned me onto the Dregs mannnn... in Florida, where they were a hot item, and we went to see them. The poor fellow got to meet Steve Morse, a very quiet soft spoken fellow, and dragged me over to say hello to him.

I had to practically drag him away I think he wanted to be Morse's love slave for the night and Morse wanted to become better acquainted with some of the lovely ladies that were there

Makes perfect sense flying and Morse/Dregs after all Morse's other career was flying corporate Lear Jets.
Don't know if he is doing more flying, more playing, or both these days...

I have a Mark O'Connor-Dregs story but since it ends up with me never considering buying any albums of his (O'Connor) I hesitate to tell the details of it. Short story I think Mark O'Connor followed the Dregs around till the original violinist left and O'Connor took over. Now he doesn't like to acknowledge the Dregs/Morse's contribution to furthering his career. Sure O'Connor is talented but he wasn't to well known in 1980.

Well rodent or not he was pretty talented and here is a fun video a remake of Devil went down to Georgia.
Johnny Cash, Charlie Daniels, Mark O'Connor (aka talented rodent) and others...
